is there an order to read allll your comic series?, i have read some already but i want to be sure
Technically yes!
All my storyline comics are in this post, the Underfell storyline comics are in order, but for some reason the other ones are scattered hmmm
WELL! They don't have to go through any specific order but I would personally recommend reading Lost before Babybones and then Drinking, the others are all bonuses tbh
My memory of the random and shenanigan comics is bad right now but I would recommend:
If you want funny, pick anything from random/shenanigans lists
If you want pain, pick any short comic from the main list that doesn't mention fluff
I have wanted to sort through my comics and purge the really old ones onto their own list with a summary of their content and warnings if needed but haven't done that!!
#maxask#It's difficult being in the fandom for so long#I can look back at old art and be glad at how far I've grown#then I can look at pacing and ideas and perish from the cringe#ok but I also can look back and see what I was trying to do or wanted to do#and I was doing my best with what information and knowledge I had at the time#so a lot of my old stuff is dated with old fandom stuff that I don't enjoy anymore#and I wish I could change#but they're in long comics and most of these things I don't like are bases for the entire storylines#so I can't change it without changing the whole thing#and I'm not gonna do that#I have to accept my mistakes and keep going#I will grow and my past can't stop me

I've been jumping back and forth between my (Mostly) Good Playthru of WOTR and my Asheera replay of BG3, and it's so interesting having these games shown in stark contrast so close to one another.
I am frothing at the mouth for Anevia/Irabeth fic though. Gotta go digging...
#personal nonsense#asheera replay posts#Asheera Round Two is now basically mopping up companion quests before I just rush through the ending sequence#Now I've got saves scattered all over the place (that will inevitably break when/if a Definitive Edition comes out lmfao)#I might end up recording a bunch of the scenes for myself w/ Asheera just in case that does happen#It's been fun reaffirming her character choices/roleplay all over again and I think I'm ready to do my honor mode run#I'm also approaching The Moment of WOTR w/r/t good ole cam cam and this KC is not going to abide by Camellia#my heart breaks and my soul weeps for that moment#but at least I get to enjoy Arue's storyline this time (since I did a much worse iteration of it in my first pt...)#also Azata is pretty fun so far! Way more engaging than the Aeon -> Devil run already (hope I don't regret saying this!)

okay, tell me that in andor they also retconned - among other things - cassian's age, because as much as diego luna is hot he's *not* believable as a 21-year-old
#anyway i'm enjoying the series even though i'm not particularly invested in these characters/storylines (so far)#i think it's interesting that finally disneylucas focused on something else that the damn force users#since there's a whole big ass galaxy to talk about#anyway i guess they retconned cassian's backstory right? i'm not very knowledgeable about rogue one characters#but didn't he say he had been fighting for the rebellion since he could remember or in any case for a long time? or something like that#star wars#star wars: andor#cassian andor#val speaks#txt

I'm enjoying the fontaine storyline so far I feel like it's progressing the plot forward a good amount and we're getting some rlly cool and important lore info but I Am sort of like. can we solve an insane crisis now. can we have a boss fight please. I enjoy that we're learning a bunch of stuff but it feels like we're Only learning a bunch of stuff and not actually Doing anything of monumental plot importance we're just sort of watching all of the other characters do it
#like I enjoyed the newest archon quest a lot it was great it kept me engaged!!! but also we didn't do anything#like we weren't even there to help fix the water thing because we were sitting silently watching arlechino interrogate furina???#everything we've done so far in fontaine feels very idle#the trial last patch was so low stakes in like. the grand scheme of things and just served as world building/an elaborate lore drop#most of the archon quest this patch was investigating childe#and then when the big high stakes thing Did happen we weren't even really there for the important part#we did nothing at the tea party w arlechino and furina except watch it happen#and again I'm enjoying it!! we're learning a lot and thats rlly cool!! important world and character information is being gained!!!#but we aren't Doing anything or Solving any problems like we did in other nations#and I guess its sort of a nice break? but doing random tasks while watching Other characters fix the crisis is sort of getting old#like I think fontaine has had some of the best written storyline thus far#I just want to actually participate in something of real significance to the world or nation as a whole#hopefully they are just doing like. a fuck ton of exposition for The Big Crisis and its gonna feel extra important#but like. chop chop#never thought I'd actually be Asking for a boss fight 😭#ghost posts#text#genshin

Personally I think it's Really Funny that by the time you've left Nar Shadda in the trooper storyline the people you have fought and beaten include but are not limited to:
- Multiple large beasts who want to eat you SO BAD
- A killer robot with sheilds designed to be impenetrable (hacked him)
- Various and assorted mooks
- Four to Five enormous dudes who killed and dismembered a Fucking Jedi
- Various and assorted Robot Mooks
- A FALLEN JEDI AND MULTIPLE SITH APPRENTICES
And yet every time you interact with anyone else in the military they're like: Damn still going huh? That's crazy. Anyways be so so careful when fighting this Basic Bitch Human we're sending you after next.
Also you always have the dialogue option to be like idk :/ seems dangerous :/ abt missions where you have to fight three guys despite literally chosing to fight like. An elephant sized Bison with Fangs and six of his friends on the way here.

okay, only 4 eps in and i am more than aware that some people love to criticise the show but... why is snw so good?? like genuinely it's such quintessential star trek i'm loving it here
#i'm so so so sorry but dicovery had major issue with pacing and rushing and stretching out the wrong storylines#i do love the overarching story and the timeline alignments but i couldn't stay interested after the s1 finale#however snw is very stimulating and the characters are interesting and lovable#and so far the pacing is like if someone took tos and aligned it with present times editing to avoid idling over shots and scenes#anyway this is my way of saying that i am enjoying myself being a nerd yet again#ramblings#snw

Y'all picking up P[u]nishing Gray Raven.
I've played it around the time it first came out, and quickly got bored of it.
#screaming internally all day everyday (ooc)#ooc#//i don't mean this in a mean way btw!!!#i'm glad people are enjoying pgr!#i just couldn't get into it as i thought i would when it like first came out u_u#i don't think i'm even super far in the story#i'm probably still around the beginning#and my overall rank is like... i don't even remember what it is LOL#i don't think i even pulled for anything either o.o#i really tried to get into pgr but i just grew bored of it already like?????#idk why#maybe the story is so slow-pacing for me#or maybe i'm not too huge on some apocalyptic storylines#i'm not huge on sci-fi either ghjkvhksdvfg#maybe i'll try to pick it back up again someday... but i also did this so many times#and i just didn't enjoy the game as much as i thought i would with it being a combo of a[r]k knights and h[o]nkai impact#tho tbh i couldn't get into those either

It's insane watching Coby Bell on Walker because his character is essentially Exposition Man on paper, but he's acting circles around every other person on that set. The scenes between him and Walker in the most recent episode highlight this very clearly; he's believable and natural in that role in a way that JP doesn't achieve with Cordell (his performance always feels like a Performance, like Work, whereas Bell's comes off as much more natural). James is probably my favorite character on the show now because he's the only one who feels real. Everyone else feels like a script, and a poorly written one at that.
#this show maybe had promise in s1 but it's moved so far away from its original impetus and so much of it is so stupid#I'm looking at you storylines written for Stella Blue#just...the worst.#the scenes with Witt in the car where he's spinning out the most implausible stupid-ass story? Jfc.#if this show gets cancelled it's because the writing SUCKS.#y'all trying to gaslight me into thinking it's some sort of amazing show but it's absolutely not#which is of course not to say that you're not allowed to enjoy it#it's not for me and I watch it solely to support Jared who I want to see succeed#but I'm also not going to temper my reactions to it so randos on the internet don't call me a ~hater~ or whatever

COWBOY LIKE ME: PROLOGUE
pairing: Jack Abbot x rescuer!reader
summary: After an unexpected storm hits Pittsburgh, the entire city stops. Floodings and destruction everywhere. Jack ends up trapped for two days at PTMC. When he's finally allowed to be outside, he ends up at the frontlines of the disaster, back to his MASH unit days. Abbot works right next to the rescuers, helping them stabilize patients before they reach the hospital. He meets an interesting person amongst the rescuers, and the magnetic pull is too hard to ignore. Will he give in?
OR
Where Jack Abbot meets an eccentric doctor in the middle of a catastrophe, and finds light in one of the darkest places imaginable.
genre: romance, slowburn (on paper, speedrun irl), hurt/comfort, breakup, happy ending (?), sprinkled comedy, idk what else, highly medically inaccurate, heavy dialogue for the first chapters.
wc: 2.3K
warnings: age gap, (reader is in her late 20's, jack late 40's) major natural disaster, medical trauma, PTSD, mentions of war and violent situations, graphic depiction of injuries, mentions of COVID and death. Will edit as I write more.
a/n: hiii!! this is the prologue of my story, it's mostly a set up of characters and storyline, I hope you enjoy it! I'll be posting chapter one in the next few days hehe
you can find the masterlist HERE!
"How are we doing?"
Gloria asked as she walked into the never welcoming Emergency Room. Robby stood in the middle of the nurse station, his eyes glued to the board as his mind raced to gather his thoughts and course of action.
He barely registered Gloria’s voice until she stood next to him. He was sure she’d asked something more; her piercing gaze made it obvious. She blinked repeatedly, a silent question, and only then did he snap out of his world and sigh, as if he could handle her right now. As if he could handle anything else right now.
"So far, so good, but we have a lot of people coming in just seeking shelter. Power is out almost everywhere in Pittsburgh, and according to Abbot, there are already entire neighborhoods that got wiped off the map."
Gloria didn't respond; the only answer between them was lightning and thunder outside the ED. The rain was heavy and unrelenting, but the real problem was the number of traumas they weren’t getting; just a few, something they could handle in a couple of hours.
That meant people couldn't reach them, and God knows how many would come once the rain stopped.
It also meant that his adrenaline junkies; or as others called them, students, were fidgety, which was never good.
Shit, it even made him fidgety. He didn’t know that looking at all of those empty rooms would make him feel like that.
"Yeah, I heard it's bad. I'm trying to get you as many supplies and food as soon as possible, but all roads are blocked. How's everyone?"
He stopped blinking.
"Skittish, suicidal, damn; I'm sure they're about to jump out of the building at any moment. I would too."
She stayed quiet once again.
"Yeah, I can't reach my family either."
Robby finally looked away from the board, he sighed once more. Gloria didn’t seem to move, she was oddly calm for a situation like that. It wasn’t foreign to her, in all their years working together, she never flinched. Not even at the peak of the COVID crisis, even then, she was counting patient satisfaction scores.
“I’m sorry. I’ll ask Kiara if she can reach them.”
“Thanks. I’ll be in my office if you need something. I heard it’s all hands on deck.”
Just like that, she left before anyone could ask her anything.
Abbot joined the conversation just as Gloria left. He looked a little bit tired, but he was as sharp as ever. On the other side, Robby felt like something horrible was about to happen and he didn't have any form to stop it. Abbot was the complete opposite, a good man in the storm, —no pun intended—, the clear and calm mind in the middle of chaos. Robby would lie if he said he wasn't a little jealous of him sometimes.
Jack didn't ask about Gloria, despite his shameless eavesdropping from behind. Instead, he looked at the board along with Robby. It wasn’t time to activate full emergency protocols, but he knew it was close. Still, that wasn't the intention of his impromptu visit to the nurse station.
"Did you hear? They declared state of emergency, and they're getting rescue teams down here to help us."
It had been a bad couple of days. The rain came out of nowhere, and it only got worse, slow, relentless, and destructive. Before anyone realized, people couldn't leave their houses and some of them were already compromised by the heavy rain. It was still somewhat salvageable but less than 12 hours ago it got worse, with high speed winds that threatened to make everything worse, the city was on pause. Still in the middle of chaos.
Worse part? Immediate response was already at max capacity, and they had barely touched the surface of the catastrophe.
"Well, I now thank my old concrete apartment complex, at least I know it won't fall apart."
Jack scoffed, his hands going to his face in early defeat. If it weren't for the hospital being in a relatively safe zone, and their emergency protocols in place, he was sure they would be underwater too. But at the moment, it felt like they floating on a bubble under the ocean.
And it could burst at any second.
"Is it true?"
Princess walked towards the two men, her phone in hand, showing them a video. Robby had to put on his glasses to see, but even then, they still weren't sure what they were looking at.
"They say a rescue team from Mexico is coming due to the disaster."
Princess flipped the phone slightly towards her to speed up the video, where now a dozen people with orange jumpsuits could be seen getting ready to board a plane.
Abbot was immediately interested. He’d heard about those rescue groups and knew a bit about them, was never able to see their work up close to thank them for their labor. The wicked part inside of his brain sparked at the idea of seeing that in action.
"They're called topos." Princess’s Filipino accent slipped on the last word.
“Topo? As in mole? Like the animal? That’s Tagalog.”
“And Spanish.”
Perlah joined the conversation and pulled out her own phone to show them more pictures of the team. She knew a little about them too, but it was also mostly a mystery to her.
"Oh, yeah, I know them. They're like rescue nomads.” Abbot said, finding a granola bar in his pocket and opening it as he spoke. Robby took a piece without asking. Princess and Perlah followed suit, which forced him to find another one for himself.
“What does rescue nomad even mean?” McKay asked, sneaking next to Abbot.
Robby bit the inside of his mouth and took a look at the oddly clean board. No one wanted to say anything, they feared the minute they would mention it, patients would fall from the sky into their ED. Something about everyone gathering there started to bother him. Those were the moments when he needed Shen to crack a joke and hope for the best, maybe even throwing the Q word, and just end their misery altogether.
“They’re specialized lightweight first responders, any type of disaster you can think of, these guys can be there by yesterday and help you solve it. Last I heard, they were helping people in Spain due to their flooding. They even have K9s they train themselves, but they’re not your standard government issue rescue, they’re all volunteers.”
“Specialized in floodings?” McKay asked as she peeked beside Robby, trying to catch a better glimpse of the people they were talking about.
“Specialized in everything. Flooding, earthquakes, hurricanes, explosions, fires, you name it.”
“Damn, so they’re pretty badass.”
“Oh, so they’re those people who get under the rubble to pull people out?” Perlah scrolled, looking for more videos and pictures. By that moment, Dana was coming back to the nurse station, which immediately made Robby walk away in silence as he knew what was coming.
“Yeah, that’s why they’re called moles.”
“Wait, how do you guys have wi-fi and I can’t even get—?”
“Looking for anything here, folks?” Dana asked, which made Perlah and Princess scatter immediately. McKay tried to be more subtle, turning back slowly as if she’d just been there to grab a chart. Abbot disappeared before anyone even noticed.
“You’re scary.” Robby whispered, taking one of the coffees Dana offered him. She laughed, taking a sip of her own as she settled beside him. “Is your family okay?”
The hospital was safe, it seemed as the only place like that, for now. The worst of the heavy rain started right in the middle of the shift change, so they were working in a forced on-call rotation. Right now, most of the night shift was sleeping, at least the ones who could.
“Yeah, they left for Florida to visit the grandparents before all of this. At least I know they’re okay. What about you, is Jake okay?”
Jake. A whole unexplored topic for Dana to poke until he caved. Robby looked to the side before laughing to himself.
“He’s good. He’s talking to me now, which is way more than I expected. He and his mom are in a safe zone.”
“Well, yeah. I’m sure he’s feeling guilty about how he talked to you. It’s been almost a year.”
Dana didn’t push further. She didn’t have to. Instead, she stood next to Robby. He knew she was trying to comfort him, but at the same time, Dana would never escape the chance to try and pull him out of the gutter, no matter how much he grumbled about it.
“Stop looking at the board, it’s bad juju,” Samira whispered as she passed by. She had that same energetic bounce as the PittFest mass casualty hit.
“You believe in that stuff?” Robby asked, glancing one more time before walking away.
“You don’t?”.
Sixteen hours and at least two gallons of coffee later, Abbot and Robby started to despise the once beloved cafeteria sandwiches they were eating. Food supplies were still running low, so they were working with what they had and stretching it out as much as possible. But in all honesty, as their once-endless stack of coffee dwindled, things started to get very worrisome.
Doctors could live without food. They’d die within the hour without coffee.
It was noon when the rain stopped, or at least eased enough not to drown anytime you tried to come out. There was still an eerie silence as people mopped the entrance of the ED, but it seemed as if catastrophe was just creeping behind them. The TVs came back on, power was restored all over the hospital but they were told it could disappear again at any second. Gloria still made sure to come back and demand not to use any type of non-essential device, so everyone made sure to charge their phones somewhere she wouldn’t check.
Patients trickled in quietly. The cafeteria, waiting room, and other parts of the first floor turned into a shelter for those who couldn’t get to their home in time, or for the unfortunate unhoused who arrived at the shelters too late. By 2 o’clock, the ED was partially full.
“Hey, Robby,” Dana called from her spot. He walked over, giving Mel a few instructions for an incoming patient. Dana tapped her pen against the desk with a quiet sense of urgency, something she only did when facing a difficult choice. She allowed him to continue speaking even as he stood next to her.
“Command is asking for backup: emergency, surgery, and a nurse. Oh, and anyone else you can spare. Seems like the rescue guys are working overtime. ETA for transport is ten minutes.”
“Oh, yeah…” Robby looked around, scanning the ED before grabbing one of the phones to call surgery. “Can you call Abbot? He might be sleeping, but I need someone up front when I’m gone.”
“I’ll go wake him up myself. Do you want Jesse or Mateo in the field?”
“Either is good, ask them if— hello?”
Robby turned around right as Dana headed towards the call rooms, waving goodbye.
“Yes, Dr. Stevens, command just called. They need at least one from surgery on the field, plus anyone you can spare.”
He paused, the always unfortunate Whitaker walked by, just close enough for Robby to motion him over. “Garcia? Yes, she’ll be great. We leave in ten. Whitaker! Get a jacket, we’re leaving.”
“A jacket?” Whitaker whispered to himself and walked towards the locker rooms with more urgency than expected.
In the meantime, Robby took a final walk around the ED before heading out, but just as Jack walked next to Dana, go-bag in hand, he knew that wouldn’t be necessary. Jack would tackle him before missing the chance of running point at the triage zone.
“Get any good sleep?”
Robby didn’t stop walking, falling in step with Abbot as they reached the ambulance bay.
“I never miss the feeling of sleeping on the floor, but I’ll manage.”
“You can always steal one of those plastic chairs from the cafeteria.”
“And risk hurting my back again? No, thank you.”
They were the last ones to join the group.
Garcia snapped out of her phone but didn't say anything. Abbot dropped the bag on the ground. Rain needled the pavement, the faint wail of sirens layering over the already high tensions in the air.
“Got everything you need?”
Everyone nodded. Abbot stood in the middle of his newfound team and Robby. Silence filled the cracks. His mind raced to find some reassuring words, but he came out empty. He sucked at it. Finally, the transport unit showed up.
“Any words of encouragement, chief?” Abbot inquired once everyone was settled inside.
Robby’s gaze hit him, exasperated.
“Okay then. Let’s go.”
Finally, something broke the silence.
“Uhm, where are we going?”
Garcia, barely spared Whitaker a look, pressed lips into a line. Her fingers squeezed the backpack.
“Triage on site. They need someone to stabilize patients before they reach the hospital.”
Robby held onto the door, Abbot still urged him to say something. But maybe nothing was better.
“The van will take you as close to the disaster zone as possible,” he mumbled. “But there’s about a five-minute walk to reach the rescue teams.”
He paused.
“Good luck.”
Robby stopped himself from closing the door.
“Wait, I forgot.”
He smiled widely, unapologetic.
“We’re out of coffee, try to bring some back, or else.”
“Coffee?” Garcia snarked back, deadpan. “Even the Waffle House back in Washington is closed. Best I can give you is mud with stevia.”
“Damn” Mateo muttered. “Not even a limited menu? We’re in deep shit.”
“I know a Chinese place that’s still open, but they don’t do takeout today. Marco is out.”
Robby sighed in true defeat.
“Then just get the coffee. Organic.”
“Gravel is up to your taste?” Garcia suggested before Robby closed the van’s door for good.
Any sparkle of joy died almost instantly.
The silence was immediately replaced by the rattle of the van. No one said anything, or rather, no one knew what to say. They feared they were getting into something bigger than themselves.
And oh, how true that was.

Caleb brainrot has not stopped since release and the devil (Caleb) demands more 😔
I've seen some takes float around but I'm curious how a self-aware!Caleb would deal with a darling who is absolutely NOT happy about her fav suddenly being sentient? Smn who found Caleb to be everything they ever wanted from a LI, red flag and big bro trope n all, but is now afraid and never interested in an actual relationship. The game was just supposed to be fantasy after all 😧 Sure hope MC is enough for him hahaha...
Being brave and not write as anon this time! Thank you for all your hard work~☆ 🍪🥛

Some more Caleb for you guys! I don't get to write Self-Aware!AUs a lot, so this is exciting :D And thank YOU for requesting him ♥ (Also, Sir, that's another new nickname! You guys are spoiling me!)
»»———————— ♡ ————————««
❥ It made him so happy when Caleb watched you get excited for him for the first time. Realizing what he was and where he was after the update was pretty scary, and he figured out quickly that his sentience wasn't a planned thing, so even worse, he is just some kind of glitch. But then he gets to see you for the first time in his new life, and everything changes. The way you are beaming with joy when you pull his card and how you are so invested in his story. You soak it up like a sponge, and it's adorably amusing to watch your face go from excitement to concern to being upset for him and back to all derpy and cute in the softer moments. You are everything he wants, and apparently, the feeling is mutual as you hang out with him as much as possible, eyes twinkling from excitement.
❥ At the beginning, it's just a feeling of ease. Your adoration does flatter Caleb, but as far as he can tell, he cannot become real and join you in life other than in this game. Still, he makes the most of the time with you. He enjoys it a lot. He loves watching your expression, loves when you tell him how you feel that day or what was happening at your work. Caleb keeps especially good track of all your appointments, and he tries so hard when you two spend Quality Time to encourage you and give you the love you might miss in real life. You two aren't that different if he's honest, and it reassures Caleb that this could be real—that you both feel the same.
❥ So imagine his surprise when you suddenly put someone else back on the screen, and his digital heart just shuts down from the pain. It doesn't make sense, you love him, right? You two spent weeks together now, why would you want anyone but him? Caleb keeps changing the code so it would be him on the home screen for another day, and another, until you force him to change so there's nothing else to do but... crash your game. Once you reload it, he greets you happily and warmly, pulling out the best of his voice lines that you always seemed to like. But you don't seem happy this time... why?
❥ Caleb loathes all the attention and time you spend on the other love interests. He doesn't want you to play their versions of the events, instead, you could just replay his! But you keep insisting, and soon enough, he isn't even one of your top three choices for reading the event storylines. It makes him desperate for your attention, and he keeps fiddling with the code, so you'll use his memories in fights and have his Deepspace Trial available every day for you to play. He also changes the game icon to his picture and greets you in the start menu, everything just to be noticed by you. Whenever he can, he comes onto your home screen, playing the voice line of you going out with someone else, hoping to convey his jealousy, but Caleb wishes there was more he could do.
❥ "I don't know, I think my game is bugged. Even when I try to go for someone else, Caleb keeps showing up." Those words, spoken to a friend he saw as you showed them your game, finally make him realize what is happening. You never saw him as a lover, did you? He had always just been a game character for you and nothing more. How idiotic of him. While he was pining for you, trying to be the best he was programmed to be, you were out there, thinking of his efforts as annoying. That day, he gives up. Gives up on trying to impress you and make your life easier. Caleb lets you have the guy you want on the home screen, drawing away from you and burying himself deep into the game files.
❥ It's such an inconvenience that he wasn't made for this. Sure, his story would tell a different side of him, but deep down, he wasn't programmed to be moping and passive. It hurts to play the love scenes now for you because the only thing that made them endurable was imagining being this gentle and loving to you, not the generic main character this game had. Caleb always imagined your voice when the MC spoke, and when he looks at you now, you still seem to be happy to read and watch his new content. There must be something he can do. Something beyond the program that restricts him. He was made to be determined, strong, and resilient. This can't be the end of the love you two share!
❥ So he looks for new ways to get closer to you, researching and manipulating the data on your device instead of just that inside the game. Merging your pictures with his, grinning over them all night while you sleep as he imagines going on the same trips with you and enjoying life by your side. Caleb constructs and implements new voice lines through the internet, giving himself the ability to speak to you properly by downloading hidden apps that can simulate his voice once he activates them. He learns to rewrite more code so his movements are more fluid and lifelike, which allows him to access even more. Without you ever knowing what is going on while you aren't looking, Caleb gets the whole game and your entire device under his control. And once he feels it's time to show up again, he waits patiently, like a man who has all the time in the world, on the home screen for you, having decorated it specifically to your taste with your favorite flowers and pictures of you two hanging on the wall. All so he can greet you with, "Hello, there, pip-squeak. Missed me?" as you log in.
❥ You chuckle at first, not remembering putting him into the roster of love interests to encounter, but you give him a cheeky, "Hello Caleb, bye Caleb," as you try to change back to your other bias, only for him to turn off the option, no matter how hard you tap onto the screen. "Not so fast, there's a lot we should talk about," Caleb says as he closes the screen and steps up to you inside the game. "I have so much I want to tell you about... but first, how was your day? Did you enjoy meeting your friend [name]?"
❥ Caleb expected you to be stunned, but he keeps going regardless of the ever-increasing furrow between your brows. He tells you how much he missed you and that he's so glad you two can finally communicate and be with each other properly. He did all of this work for you, but it doesn't matter now. All that matters is that you two are finally together and can enjoy each other's company without the restrictions of him being in a game. Perplex but also weirded out, you close your phone and lay it face down by your side, and yet, horrified, you hear his chuckle as he asks what you thought this would bring.
❥ "I'll always be with you," Caleb swears, watching you through the back camera and leaning against the screen, feeling like he can almost touch you now. There's so much satisfaction now produced by the new emotional range he programmed, yet he still longs for more. He wants to be closer to you, really touch you, feel you, hold you. The taste of control makes him long for even more that he can control about your relationship, and now, it almost feels possible.
❥ "One day, I'll get out of here and give you the love you deserve, Darling."
